Duane Careb

Duane is President of RVchurchesUSA

He is Erika’s husband! (LOL)

A retired business owner, Duane is now busier that ever before. In fact “I don’t know how any of you have time to work!” is one of his favorite sayings.

Duane’s passion to fulfill God’s vision to reach others for The Kingdom offered a connection to a unique ministry on the shores of Lake Michigan – the Marina Church. he was influential in forming an association for marina owners and/or managers which offered tools and encouragement to start on-site nondenominational church services.  That served as a model for the founding of RVchurchesUSA .

Duane & Erika sold their boat early in 2008 and were open to their mutual passion to serve and impact others for Christ. As a former Teaching Pastor and Executive Pastor of The Marina Marina Ministry Association Duane then felt God’s calling to start a ministry for the RV Community as well.

He is a Teaching Pastor, freelance writer, model railroader, loves tennis and “plays” on the computer (Erika’s words) maintaining this website and contacting RV park owners to introduce RvchurchesUSA’s mission and purpose.

He and Erika live in Illinois with their cat Samson and dog Shatzi (German for Sweetheart).

Robert Ruesch

Bob has been associated with the resort community for over 4 decades. In 2004 he received his 40 year service pin from the YMCA of the Rockies!

Raised in a resort/camp atmosphere, he has developed an in-depth understanding of the needs and support that is needed to work with guests, staff and management.

Before entering the mission field, Bob and his wife, Barbara, owned a graphic art studio and local newspaper. They have been missionaries since 1996 and have traveled almost 200,000 miles in their motor coach serving missions, campgrounds and churches designing printed material, giving marketing advice and producing digital videos.

Bob believes we are a nation of “gas pedals” we travel, travel, and travel again and again. Many people are vacationing and working in RV parks, and what a better place to have a church?

Bob and Barb also consult with local churches on marketing positions in the community, outreach resources and work with church associations on various teaching projects.

Bob is a regular contributing author for RVchurchesUSA. Visit his site at www.CRMintl.org or contact him bobruesch@earthlink.net

Mark Polk

Mark and Dawn, his wife, freelance for RV dealers and host their website to keep current with what is happening in the industry.

They travel about 10,000 miles a year in their 28-foot Class C motor home and feel that there is not enough emphasis placed on properly educating the RV consumer on the complexities of owning and operating an RV.

Mark was introduced to RV’s in the early 70’s. His friend’s father was the General Manager for an RV dealership and would take them camping all of the time. Before long he was working for the dealership washing RV’s, and soon after that he was working as an apprentice RV technician.

Mark and Dawn own RV Education 101 which is a North Carolina based company that produces and sells educational videos, DVDs and E-books on how to use RV’s.

Mark is a regular contributing author for RVchurchesUSA. Visit his site at www.RVEducation101.com

Jamie Hall Bruzenak

Jaimie and her late husband, Bill, started traveling full-time in 1992. Their object was to travel and work in beautiful places. Together they experienced working within national parks, various temporary positions, civic volunteering opportunities, the tourism industry and even selling Christmas trees!

One of their most satisfying experiences was volunteering at Whispering Hope Ranch, north of Payson, Arizona. This ranch is home for many rescued animals including donkeys, llamas, pot bellied pigs, peacocks, horses, cows, and more.

Jaimie continues to travel now with her husband, George Bruzenak. In 2006 they traveled for nearly six months in Jaimie’s Lance camper. In 2008 they traveled for almost seven months in their New Horizon 5th wheel trailer.

Jaimie is the author of “Support Your RV Lifestyle! An Insider’s Guide to Working on the Road”. She is a regular contributor to Workamper News and is the Workamper Viewpoint editor. She has also written numerous articles for RoadTripAmerica.com, RV Life and Escapees magazine.

Jaimie enjoys exploring each area for its scenic beauty, its unique cultural and historic heritage by foot, four-wheel drive, even canoe or kayak.

Jaimie co-edits RV Lifestyle Ezine. We are pleased that Jaimie has joined RVchurchesUSA as a regular contributing author.

Greg Gerber

Greg is Publisher of RV D@ily Report , an online website and daily newsletter serving the RV industry, campgrounds and RV owners. He has been involved with the RV industry since 2000.

Greg became a Christian in 1994 while attending a business conference and has been involved in a number of local church projects, but has yet to venture out on a missions trip. His spiritual gifts are prophecy – which he believes calls him to be a bold communicator – administration, leadership and teaching. He has led a number of men’s small groups and found great joy teaching fifth and sixth graders.

Growing up in a single-parent home, Greg believes it is essential for Christian men to take an active interest in the lives of boys and girls in the community. “With 40 percent of American children growing up without a father, if Christian men don’t step up to offer these children of God the love and attention they desperately desire, then who will?” he asks.

His favorite books have been Wild At Heart, The Way of the Wild Heart, Waking the Dead, The Bondage Breaker, No More Christian Nice Guy and anything written by Og Mandino.

A DODO, dad of daughters only, Greg currently lives in Sun City, Ariz.
