“This opportunity (mentoring campground owners) has developed into the moving of a monthly outdoor church service in the community of Murphy, NC  to a monthly church service in the owner’s RV park instead. Now, once a month, the church in town will hold their regular service in the RV park. The service will be an all day event with food, games, and fellowship followed with Baptisms in the nearby river .

Duane, this is an example of what the Lord has in mind for RVchurchesUSA across this Nation. This is gigantic – especially if it is bringing the body of Christ together as well.  Interesting isn’t it? The campground owner had the desire to reach out while others had the desire to serve (pastors of two local churches). Murphy, NC is on fire for the Lord!”

“What a blessing to see the establishment of RVchurchesUSA. As believers, we’re all on a journey, but now those who are traveling with only a GPS will have the opportunity to find real direction for their lives. We are praying for Duane & Erika and for RVchurchesUSA. We’ll see you on down the road.”

“Our society is geared to help us think only of what has to do with this life and our full enjoyment of all it has to offer. Many times that enjoyment fails to provide the real inner peace that we actually seek.

I know this is true for I became caught up in that atmosphere for 45 years until one day in early 2008 I realize the truths taught by King Solomon in the book of Ecclesiastes.

As an active proponent of the RV industry for years, it is my firm conviction that RV parks are in an excellent position to provide more opportunities for the enjoyment of things spiritual through and with the assistance of RVchurchesUSA.org. I encourage you to investigate the possibilities and resources that are available to your park.

My research indicates that the parks that offer this type of activity have found it appreciated by their guests.

While we certainly do not want our parks to alienate those of any faith or even those with no faith, those of us who are so inclined should at least consider if adding some type of a spiritual menu to our list of activities would be beneficial to our guests.

It was Jesus himself who taught us that, as His followers, we are to spread ‘the good news to all creation’. ” (Mark 16:15 NIV)

“Duane Careb and I have become friends since striking up a conversation on the phone last fall as he unfolded his plan to me for his RVchurchesUSA. I saw it at first as just another story for my magazine, about yet another amenity that could be added to the campground industry. But it quickly became much more than that.

In subsequent conversations, we learned together how this program could become not just an asset but also an inspiration to many campgrounds and their campers. I second friend John Imler’s statement, that while the intent is not to alienate those of any faith or even those with no faith, those of us who are so inclined should at least consider if adding some type of spiritual menu to our list of activities would be beneficial to our guests.

Duane asked me early on to look for a scripture verse that could serve as a basis for his new ministry. I quickly discovered there aren’t many references to RVs and camping in the Bible. The best I could come up with was a favorite from my days as a newspaper reporter, Romans 10:15, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.’ (NIV)

Duane, God’s speed on this new endeavor.”

“RVers’ spiritual needs can be met while they pursue their passion for the open road. RVchurchesUSA has succeeded in filling that void.”

“The Careb’s have a great heart and vision for seeing people develop meaningful spiritual relationships in the context of unique recreational communities.  An example of such a vision, the Marina Ministry Association, has been an inspiration to me and my wife Shannon as we launched the Marina Church in Kenosha ,Wisconsin. I am excited to see the Carebs start RVchurchesUSA and expand that concept into the RV market.  I have experienced first hand the difference on-site nondenominational church services or Bible studies have made in the recreational community – and now others will also!”

“This (RVchurchesUSA ministry) is probably the greatest idea that I have ever heard about!

The RVer’s are starving for great campground ministry. In fact, our campground has been holding church services for over 25 years.

I would love to have our property included in RVchurchesUSA’s searchable database for RVers.”
